Physical Description
At a delicate four-foot-nine-inches, Euthalia is a petite and wiry young lady, she keeps her black hair cropped short to her chin, with blunt bangs kept at about eyebrow length or above, much to her fathers chagrin, and it has a slight curl to it. Her eyes are a light grey color, though there are flecks of a darker grey within the iris.
She lacks any womanly assets, and dresses (mostly) appropriately for a young lady, but has a definite preference for things that aren't stuffy, restrictive, or skirts, causing a great amount of friction between authority figures in her life and herself. She only tolerates school uniforms, and would much prefer to wear her 'borrowed' trousers and shirt-- accessorized with a pair of suspenders, where she got these is unknown to all but her.
While she dislikes it, Euthalia will wear dresses or skirts when forced to, or if the situation could reflect badly on herself if she didn't, but only in certain colors, and never pink or red. Her favorite color is purple, and much of her self-purchased wardrobe is made up of various shades of purple, lavender, greys and blacks.
She is quite pale, but if she's in the sun long enough, she ends up somewhat sunkissed, and she often refuses to wear shoes if she's not doing something important (what she deems important may vary wildly).
Personality
She is the very definition of a rebellious teen, she can't stand authority figures or anyone who might want to tell her what to do, especially if it's because she's a girl. She has strong opinions on the low-born races, finding them fairly detestable at best, though she does have a soft-spot for forbidden romance stories between gollies and humans, not that she would ever pursue anything of that sort herself.
While Euthalia eschews much of upper-crust society, she is still quite content to exist within it, just without all of the rigors of being a proper lady and eventually marrying some fellow to start her own family, she'd rather not have kids at all, and perhaps pursue a life of some sort of artist, as she spent a lot of time as a child playing in her fathers workshop, but she feels she is far too young to be making decisions like that quite yet.
She doesn't like fancy outfits or any sort of ridiculousness, which has made her something of an outcast among other females, and particularly an outcast in Bastian society.
Euthalia misses Florne desperately, but not her father, due to their falling out shortly before he shipped her off to Brunnhold.
Backstory
Euthalia was the second child born to her parents [REDACTED] and Dimitrios, after their first son died unexpectedly when he was just three years old. Unlike her late brother, Euthalia was a colicky baby, and as she grew up, it became clear she would never quite grow out of the bad attitude. This first reared it's head when she turned nine. While preparing for her coming of age, Euthalia and her father got into a shouting match about what she would wear, her father insisted on a very expensive, but practical dress with a floral patterning, while Euthalia demanded she be allowed to wear something far less elaborate.
Ultimately she was made to wear her fathers choice of dress.
Her mother passed away when she was eleven.
While her father expected her to grow into a skilled healer -- like her mother, she takes after him in more ways than one, the first being her temper, and the second being her interest in Static conversation. The first spell she cast was ignite, fortunately she only destroyed a candle she wanted to light in the first place. Dimitrios was convinced that some low-born taught it to her. This lead to Euthalia not getting dessert at dinner for a time.
Euthalia started out her schooling at Anastou, however after causing a few small ruckus' due to her attitude, her father made the decision to send her to Brunnhold to continue her education, far away from where she might damage his reputation as a sculptor.
Many of their letters are a back and forth about whether Euthalia will one day marry and have her own children, which her father expects (and somewhat dreads), but which Euthalia does not want at all.
She has some passing interest in Physical conversation but hasn't pursued anything specific regarding that yet, wanting to focus on her Static studies first, probably out of spite for her fathers disapproval.
