Physical Description

Georgianna Morgenstern is unusually tall for an Anaxi galdor. She stands at exactly 5 feet, 7 and one half inches. This half inch is very important to her, as it makes her taller than her fraternal twin brother, Sebastian. She has long, curly red-brown hair that is usually restrained in a knot, braid, or bun. Somewhat restrained, if it’s humid. Her eyes are green-gold and bright, and her complexion is fair but littered with million of freckles, a trait she inherited from her father and shares with her brother. She has a cleft chin and sharp cheekbones. Her build is lithe and graceful. She generally dresses in sensible blouses and skirts, sometimes accented with a scarf or wrap in some sort of garish pattern. She has been known to wear trousers from time to time, usually if she is working on a painting or some other piece of art. It is not uncommon to see flecks of paint on her skin or in her hair, though she does her best to oust them before she needs to go anywhere important.

Personality

Georgianna would be described by many of her peers as very unladylike. She is loud, she is opinionated, and she refuses to be demure and fade into the background. She always speaks her mind and makes her intentions clear. She knows that this can sometimes make her appear a bit rude, but she would rather make herself clear than risk doing harm by being misunderstood. She has a big heart, and loves her friends and family dearly. She can sometimes get too absorbed in the plights of others, and often needs to remind herself to step back and assess how it is affecting her. She is intelligent and has a very good eye for colour and composition, and enjoys sketching things and people that catch her eye in everyday life. She is generally very sure of herself, and knows who she is and what she wants. She is also acutely aware of the fact that she is, in fact, a double standard, in that she protests for womens’ suffrage and independence but still actively depends on her father to pay for her education and living expenses. She is also aware that she is afforded more freedom and privilege than some by virtue of not having to financially support herself and by having parents who are largely understanding, if not actively encouraging, of her views and activism. She uses these as motivation to strive to become independent, and to fight harder for her causes..

Georgie is a firm believer in equal rights, and lends her efforts to many causes to this end. Most notably, she advocates for galdori womens' political rights, literacy rights for lower races, and passive equality.

Backstory

Georgianna was born in the spring of 2695, roughly fifteen minutes after her fraternal twin brother, Sebastian, making her the second eldest of Sampson and Illiana Morgenstern's three children. While her brother followed after their father, sharing his love of machines and tinkering, Georgianna was determined from a young age to forge her own path. She developed a love of art rather early, possibly sparked by a trip to the Museum of Antiquities as a small child. Her parents were, thankfully, as encouraging of her hobbies and interests as they were of her brother's, though they wished she could have made them more apparent without drawing all over the walls of the nursery. She filled countless sketchbooks with doodles of her family, her toys and anything else that caught her interest, developing her skills.

It was clear to them from a young age that Georgie would always be a handful. She was incredibly headstrong as a young girl, which came back to bite her on several occasions. This never deterred her, however, and she has remained spirited even as a young woman. She butted heads with several art professors in her time at school, usually when they disapproved of her work. She found classical art very boring, and would often go against her professors’ instructions and paint what she wanted to. Nevertheless, she kept good enough marks and majored in art and static conversation, and earned herself a residency at a well-known art institute in Vienda. She was presented with the option of attending an academy in Bastia, but declined, mostly because it was at a classical institute but also because she didn’t want to be so far from her family.

Georgianna currently splits her time between her small flat in Vienda and her family home in Brunnhold. She also occasionally ventures to Old Rose to visit her brother. Lately she has begun to take an interest in spectrography, as it is an art form she is unfamiliar with but would like to learn.
