Cadoc is stocky, running a little to fat in his later years. His black hair is peppered with white and grey, he either has a well kept goatee or long side whiskers, mostly grey. Cadoc always dresses smartly, often in a grey waistcoat and trousers.

Cadoc Murphy is a practical and down to earth sort, watchful and protective of Genevive De Silver. The Murphy family have served the De Silver family for many years. He is respectful of most galdori he meets, though he does not suffer fools lightly. He is happy with society on the whole, and his place in it. However he understands Genevive views on it.

Cadoc had a wild past before he became Genevive’s full time manservant. For a time he made a living as a prize fighter with a traveling fair. While his fighting days are behind him, he still trains when he can.
