Hot House Glass

Business Name: Hot House Glass
Description of the Business: Hot House Glass is a three-story brick building that has seen better days. Moss, freezing, and wind has chipped away at the palate of red bricks, and the shop front is announced barely by white lettering that has clearly been painted over several times on long, blackboards- HOT HOUSE GLASS. Below the sign, the store front is simple- two large windows with a door crowded in between. The windows are full of colorful glass- hanging flowers, tiny birds perched on tiny branches, small faeries in frozen dances, and more.

The first floor contains the shopfront as well as the workshop, currently just equipped for glass blowing and painting. At the back of the building, a stairway- always unlocked- leads to the apartments. There is a small washroom with a basin, tub, and chamber pot on both the second and third floor. A rustic water pump sits just outside the stairway in the small yard afforded between the building and an identical one behind it. A second door- locked- separates the stairway from the main shop.

The second floor contains two apartments, one vacant. The vacant apartment has light green wallpaper and worn pink chairs.

The third floor contains two apartments, both vacant. One has red wallpaper and white curtains. The other has white wallpaper with yellow flowers.

Location: The northwest side of Cantile, Old Rose Harbor.

Services Offered: Glass-blowing. On display and typically premade are cups, vases, plates, kettles, small figurines, flowers- simple, common, and pretty things. Yet, requests are also prominent for more unique needs, whether pipes, hookahs, eyes, and jewelry.

Apartments. Four apartments sit above the shop, each with a bed, fireplace, dining table, a parlor chairs. One remains vacant.

Services Cost: Glass-blowing. Costs depend on the product, but common items are typically 1-2 shills per piece. If requests are made with a time restraint, one can expect an extra 1 shill service fee.

Apartments. Four shills a month.

NPCs: Currently, none

Income Tier: Poor

Advancement Plan: Having freed up the back workshop by moving his bed and belongings into an apartment, Albigence now has room to expand his business with a few more trade stations. He also has a more liquid income with all of the money coming to his pocket, not a master's. His first goal is to get a pottery wheel and begin on ceramics (he's perhaps too confident in his ability to learn), as well as more paints and a kiln.
