Character Business Plans

Whether you’re beginning the game as a business owner or whether you’ve decided to start up a shop with your character, we are so happy to welcome your business in the world of Vita! Below is a brief guide on how to submit your business plan for approval.

If you are a player beginning the game with a business owning character, whether they are a galdor plantation owner or a human tavern keep, we highly recommend you submit your business in this way:

Business Name: Name your business!
Description of the Business: What does your business look like? How will people recognize it’s yours?
Location: Where is your business?
Services Offered: What are you providing your customers?
Services Cost: Who can afford your services? An Income Tier range is acceptable here (eg. Poor-Average, etc.)
NPCs: Who works for you? Do you have any staff? Please remember to be realistic with your NPCs skills. If you have staff more highly skilled than yourself, they will be the ones making a profit—not you!

Income Tier: What is your beginning Income Tier when you begin this business?
  • Please note that if you plan on building on the skills required to run your business or hire someone to do so, then you can expect to advance your Income over time, though the Job Thread rules still apply as outlined here.
  • When first purchasing a new business (if you do not begin the game as a business owner), depending on the complexity of your business, you will most likely be set back an Income Tier for anywhere between a single season or several. Remember to take this into account when planning your business.

Advancement Plan: How do you plan to grow and expand your business? In order to earn your character more income, you must be working on advancing your skills. You do not need to get too detailed here, but please remember you must make this section believable for the location you are in.
