Pleasance is 5'4" tall with a slight, delicate build. Wavy cool brown hair frames an exquisitely sculpted face that speaks to her high Galori breeding. The clothes she wears runs the gamut from typical Galor conservative dress, to revealing attire that shows off her brilliant skin. Whatever outfit she wears at a moment, she prefers hues of deep purple paired with peach or light orange, but has been known to wear a green-gray dress that matches her eyes.

Pleasance espouses a sort of soft condescension toward the lesser races of Wick, Humans, and others. She would like to hope that they could do better for themselves in society, but the facts speak for themselves. Most of those bearing human taint are prone to criminal activity and terrorism, if not aiding and abetting those who engage in such activities. She believes very much in the Galor party line when it comes to such statistics, and this is upheld by reality as time after time, the humans prove that point of view accurate.

Apart from that, she's a creature that craves to be in the orbit of social happenings. Not necessarily one for drawing attention to herself, she prefers a small circle in most gatherings but manages that circle with excellent grace and precision. She wishes to have fun, and live her best life regardless of the troubles going on beneath her.

Backstory

Pleasance was born to the Hedgethorne family on the eighth of Vortas, in the year 2700. Being the first born of her parents (her brother and the heir apparent to their family's legacy) she was oft written off as an experiment of sorts until she was shipped off to school. Her parents always took the lessons learned with the reckless and outgoing Pleasance and applied them with renewed ingenuity toward her younger brother.

Her father was a well-known adventurer, who did everything from exploring the wilds, plunging into dark tombs, and going on wild safaris. Her mother was a homemaker, a prim and proper socialite as well. Pleasance always coveted her father's lot in life and looked on with some scorn toward her mother's more submissive yet still important station as a homemaker.

Pleasance took well to life at School, and rarely had occasion to go back to her family, either not wishing it or preferring to spend more time where she loved to be. Despite her friends' absence at the school during her growing up (many of them preferred to travel home for the end of Forms or holidays.), she found much pleasure exploring the Stacks, and getting to know some of the locals.

As she grew into womanhood, on her ninth year Pleasance became adept at getting others to help her with her coursework. Often relying on her natural charm, she plied her cunning social graces on the more knowledgeable classmates in order to absorb what she could, and get them to fill in the blanks.

Now on her final years of school, she anticipates being cut off from her allowance, and not really knowing where her fate will land her. Her parents had made it abundantly clear that they favor their more magically talented son (who'd scored quite highly on initiation). And so she schemes to find some way to make ends meet, upon graduation.

Socialite - Beginner - Pleasance is just starting to learn to move within and around social circles. Securing an invitation to events usually is no issue, depending on the exclusivity of it. She has tenuous access to candymen who sell 'party favors' (read: Drugs). She's also familiar with the rules of many card and parlor games, although she isn't as good at them as a dedicated gambler would be. Finally, she knows a few dance steps, which hinges on her admittedly poor physical capabilities.

Student - Beginner - Pleasance has a different approach to her studies than many of her peers. She prefers to leave the simple and menial tasks to minions that she's snared with her wit, charm, and propensity for manipulation. She's by no means lazy or stupid, however. She sees this as proper delegation rather than outright cheating, taking tasks that she's more apt to succeed at for herself.

Pleasance is a student in her 9th year at Brunnhold. Her studies have mostly centered on the more worldly magical conversations of Physical and Static, as these are the ones she's most excelled at. Otherwise, she's excelled in her coursework concerning cultural and social studies.

Income: Average

Average - Although her parents are quite wealthy and well to do, they've given their daughter only an average allowance. It's implied thus that she's expected to make her own way once she's through her studies. As such, she's often expressed envy toward those more well-to-do students in her grade. She suspects that they intend to give the bulk of their inheritance to their son, who's coming up on his seventh year of studies at Brunnhold.

Housing: Type

A singular room in a Dormitory. She enjoys a good amount of privacy, yet with adequate access to company in the way of her classmates around the school. She plans to live off of whatever fat lord her parents intend to marry her off to, in an opulent mansion that befits her stunning beauty and social graces.

Inventory

She has a modest wardrobe of tweed suit-dresses and linen gowns. Most of her wardrobe is of modest material, yet she has a good amount of jewelry to accentuate her desired status in society. She doesn't skimp when it comes to collecting accessories, as modest as her outfits are.

An heirloom she received from her mother was a pneumatic switchblade that doubles as a hairpin. This her mother gave to her, as a hand-me-down that she no longer needs. Of course, Pleasance barely has the knowhow to use the switchblade, and so it remains a fancy, ivory hairpin with some silver and steel luster.

She has a number of books and journals for recording her thoughts and notes regarding her studies at Brunnhold. She keeps them in a bookshelf in her room.
