Physical Description
.Reginal is 5' 6" with an athletic build, his red gold hair is often left to grow long and unruly as he is often to busy to worry about such things. He normally sports a moustache and small tuft of beard under his mouth, though sometimes he either shaves or lets it grow, especially when working on something. He has blue green eyes and his skin is covered in freckles from spending most of his time out in the Southern Anaxian sun.
Personality
Reginal is generally friendly, though he finds small talk tedious and will often be thinking about some machine or invention or other. He is easily distracted at times, and more interested on occasions in technology than people.
He doesn't really concern himself with thoughts of race, although he has a great deal of respect for the human troops in the Royal Engineering Corps, especially those in under his command, who he knows by name. He also holds crafts people of all races in high regard.
He would rather be elbows deep in some manner of mechanism or firing and experimental weapon and covered in soot or oil than at some high society function.
Backstory
Growing up Reginald always had a fascination with military history and legends of a bygone age of heroes.
His family are wealthy landowners, though his grandfather had been a Major in the King's Own Heavy Lancers, a prestigious galdori cavalry regiment. His armour still stands in the great hall of Blair Manor, and the walls are lined with captured arms and armour.
When he was at school and later university he realised he also had a natural aptitude with the science of engineering. This and his Quantitative mona so he bought a captaincy in the Engineering Corps.
This caused a deal of consternation in the family, as he had been expected to join one of the fashionable and exclusive galdori regiments. Instead, as his father put it. "You choose to muck about in the mud, like some human labourer!"
Quickly Reginald found his work in the Engineering Corps barracks, while interesting it left him cold and thirsting for action!
So after consulting his commanding officer he transferred to the EC's First Battalion.
The 1st purpose was the field testing of the new and experimental armements and ordnance that was developed in the various armouries and foundries in Anaxas, in actual combat.
