The body that Kenna is currently inhabiting is that of a tall galdor man named Giacomo Mancini. He looks to be in his thirties, with a leanly muscled build. The hair of the possessed body is long, black, and silky smooth. His skin is olive toned, the smooth and unblemished flesh of a noble. A strong jaw is accented by a short, wiry beard, and gangly limbs end in long yet sturdy hands and feet. Her stolen eyes are brown and single lidded as is expected of galdori, and their edges crinkle when she smiles.
Kenna is a vengeful spirit through and through, though she is an odd one. She is aggressive, restless, and cruel in the pursuit of her goals. She sees it as her calling as a Raen to undermine galdori supremacy, often through the messiest means possible. Kenna was once a witch, and though she remembers little about her former life, her wick prejudices stuck. Though her mind does not, something in her remembers the cruelty and degradation she was given at the hands of the galdori, and she pays them back threefold.
Still, Kenna is not the bitter, skulking ghost one might assume. She takes great pleasure in her second chance at life, and is a markedly cheerful and optimistic individual. She is selfless when it comes to those who are not galdor, doting on humans and wick alike with an almost obsessive air. She as as affectionate with the less magical races as a loyal hound, and like such a hound she would gladly give her half life for their protection.
The Raen heavily favors the resistance, to the point of religious zeal. She does her part by only taking over galdor bodies, often those high in the chain of command or with otherwise great power. She feels little regret from her possessions, though she has refused to possess a few individuals after grudgingly admitting that, galdori or not, they did more help than harm. As a woman in mind if not in body, Kenna is often disturbed by the sexist tendencies of the world; she does not remember being raised, and other than her predjudice against Vita’s most magical race, anything socialized into her in her former life is now forgotten.
Before she became a Raen, Kenna was a witch. She was born in the mining town of Cerolyn, and she died there too. Her life was short and harsh. It was not unusual where she lived, and the life of many a wick wasted away in those mines. The job is a dangerous one, ill rewarded. For 27 years Kenna sweated and starved, and then she succumbed to illness and began a new, half life as a Raen.
For a season she traveled, the land wilting in her wake, until she found the capitol. Her memory grew fainter by the hour, but she clung to one thing: hatred. Kenna wanted to burn the world of the galdori to the ground, as it was their world that caused her to suffer so. Her twenty eighth birthday cake and went as she haunted a galdori astronomer, and when she had observed all she could, she struck.
She overwhelmed the man’s soul, crushing it beneath her own. Then she set about adjusting to her new life. It was more luxurious than anything she had ever known, but she would not be content to merely bask in her newfound wealth. Rather, she spent her idle hours gathering intel on her galdori peers. She would destroy them from the inside.
